Wilson works with plaster, construction timber, photography, and paint to realise her ideas. She uses Landscape as a means to discuss concerns with experience, access and expectation. Her interrogation of how we engage with landscape is an allegory of our relationship to social, educational and political structures. From functional objects to towering abstract constructions, Wilson’s artwork attempts to acknowledge its surroundings through form and sometimes also function.

Alice Wilson (b. 1982, UK) lives and works in London. She completed her MA at Wimbledon Schoolof Art (2011) and is an Arts Council and British Council supported artist. Wilson recently completed a residency and solo exhibition at Godsbanen, Denmark, and has exhibited at JGM Gallery, domobaal, Saatchi Gallery, London Art Fair and Wimbledon UAL.
